**The role:**



To be responsible for the development and implementation of manufacturing equipment on different automation levels for production of new products in close collaboration with the AO Lead Project manager.

This includes ensuring that the new equipment and process are based current day standards, and that the equipment will be implemented with a high yield.



**Key Responsibilities:**



· Drive execution of the machine development process for production machines from the early



innovation phase until process validation and handover to our manufacturing sites.



· Own project plans for equipment



· Preparation of relevant risk analyses



· Conduct of validation of certain designated processes



· Performance of FAT and SAT runs for new equipment



· Ensuring that documentation of process or product changes made is compliant with current



regulations.



· Process equipment's compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including those



specified in the Machine Directive



· Ensuring adequate level of communication with the team members associated with the project to allow



the Project Group to function as smoothly as possible.



· Ensuring adequate level training of operators and technicians at our manufacturing sites



· Supporting the T&I with process and production knowledge



**Authority (if applicable):**



Has the authority to approve running investment and operating expenses within a certain predetermined



framework and approved plan.



**Skills & Experience:**



· Experience whit running design of experiments(DOE)



· Experience within validation of equipment/methods in the medical device industry, in accordance with



EU ISO 13485 and US 21CFR820.



· Project management experience



· Knowledge of design for manufacturing



· Knowledge of construction in 3D CAD



· Experience with automation,assembly and production technologies · Knowledge within Medical Device product development (Class II) will be an advantage · Knowledge within regulatory requirements and standards will be an added value.



**Qualifications/Education:**



· Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical science, or similar technical diploma, with at



least 5 years of relevant working experience



**Principal Contacts & Purpose of Contact**



Internal - This role will have a broad interface with GQO and T&I, primarily in IC.



External - Suppliers of Equipment



**Travel Requirements**



Position may involve travel up to 20% of the time, mostly within Europe but overseas travel is expected.

Most



trips will include overnight travel.

· Speaking: Yes English*



· Writing/Reading: Yes English*



*additional languages as Danish or Spanish nice to have



**Working Conditions**



Hybrid workspace with work location in Osted, with possibility of working from home up to 3 day a week,



when it fits with tasks.
