Job description

A position as External Lecturer (part-time) in Management Accounting and Control at the Department of Management, Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University, is available from 1 December 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is a three-year appointment, and the specific number of working hours as well as teaching assignments will be agreed upon prior to each semester.

Teaching and supervision can be conducted in both Danish and English, and applications written in Danish are also welcome.

Job description


The position includes supervision and teaching within the broader area of management accounting and control, with specialization in topics and related theories in the areas of cost management, performance measurement and management, planning and budgeting, and ERP/AIS systems.

Applicants are therefore expected to have solid knowledge and experience within management accounting and control, with particular emphasis on the above-mentioned topics.

An educational background in management accounting and control or related fields is a requirement, and practical experience with applications of related topics and theories as well as experience in academic supervision is important.
Applicants must possess both strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience within the relevant subject areas.

Qualifications


Employment as a part-time lecturer requires qualifications at Master's degree level as well as additional high-level qualifications, special theses, knowledge or practical experience gained through employment in the professional field related to the academic specialisation in question.

Teaching qualifications form part of the assessment basis.
