The Role
We are looking for a Field Technical Engineer to join our Abbott Electrophysiology Division in Sweden.
In the role of Field Technical Engineer, you will be responsible to provide expert technical support and advise to our clients.
This position’s primary function is to attend implants, follow-ups and support any issues related to high voltage and low voltage stimulation devices.
 
Responsibilities
Providing expert clinical consultation, teaching and support on the use of all products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.
Maintain up to date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.
Providing technical support to the EP salesforce.
Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions that might be raised by EMEA or customers.
Qualifications
University degree within biomedical engineering or other related scientific field
Ideally electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or equivalent clinical experience.
Cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge would be considered as a strong asset.
Very good command of English and Swedish (both written and spoken)
Strong problem-solving capabilities and customer-focus.
Willingness to travel 75% of the time and ability to work autonomously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
