VIGA Real Estate – Copenhagen or Switzerland

About VIGA

VIGA Real Estate is a founder-led, internationally rooted investment platform focused on Nordic residential real estate.

Recognized as a frontrunner in deal structuring, capital formation, and ESG integration, VIGA has executed landmark residential transactions with blue-chip global partners.

With headquarters in Copenhagen and a Swiss office, the firm combines institutional standards with entrepreneurial speed—short decision lines, high conviction, and a rigorous, data-driven approach to underwriting and value creation.

The next phase is about scaling global investor partnerships and deepening VIGA’s leadership in the Nordic residential market.

The Role

You will lead VIGA’s capital formation and investor relations agenda.

This is a front-line, relationship-driven role: you will originate, cultivate, and convert institutional and family-office relationships into commitments, while representing VIGA across key European markets.

Location & travel: Based in Copenhagen or Switzerland with regular travel across the Nordics, UK, Germany, and Switzerland (occasional Asia).

Hybrid work is possible; the role requires a strong physical presence with investors and internal teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive and execute capital raising from new and existing investors.
  • Build, maintain, and activate a high-quality investor network.
  • Run roadshows, meetings, and events; present strategy, cases, and market views convincingly.
  • Mature dialogues into allocations; steward long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with Investments, Asset Management, Finance, and the founders to align narratives, terms, and closing processes.
  • What You Bring (Requirements)

  • Proven track record of sales and capital raising in real estate, ideally residential—successfully closing large ticket sizes with institutional investors and larger family offices.
  • Investor-facing commercial drive: you set ambitious targets, build pipeline proactively, and close commitments.
  • Active network across institutional investors, family offices, and key real-estate players—and the ability to deepen and expand it.
  • Financial and deal fluency: confident with transactions, structures, and models; able to translate complexity into clear investor narratives.
  • Relationship and influence skills: trusted presence with senior stakeholders; credible and effective in negotiations.
  • Operating style: structured planning and consistent delivery; high energy and stamina; comfortable with frequent travel.
  • Education & language: Master’s in finance, economics, law, business, or similar; English at professional level.
  • Who You’ll Work With

  • Founders & Leadership for fast decisions and tight alignment.
  • CIO & Investment team on theses, pipeline, and materials that move investors from interest to commitment.
  • Asset Management to turn performance and ESG progress into compelling follow-on stories.
  • CFO to anchor pitches in solid economics (terms, fees, returns) and support due diligence and closing.
  • Copenhagen & Switzerland teams to coordinate roadshows and leverage local relationships.
  • Norhjem (50/50 JV) for on-the-ground operational insight.
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package reflecting your seniority, network, and proven track record.
  • Performance-based bonus structure tied to clear KPIs and deliverables.
  • Potential co-investment / equity opportunities alongside VIGA.
  • Pension and healthcare schemes; paid phone, laptop, and home-office setup.
  • Daily lunch scheme and company social events; relocation support if required.
  • Flexible work setup (Copenhagen or Switzerland) with hybrid options.
  • Professional development (executive coaching, conferences).
