As our new Flexibility Tech Sales Specialist, you help translate complex grid-balancing concepts into real-world solutions – from virtual power plants to demand response and ancillary services.

You focus on bridging customer needs, regulatory requirements, and technical capabilities.

DIVE INTO WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY TASKS WILL BE

This is a dynamic and collaborative role where you work closely with sales, product, operations, and trading teams – as well as directly with customers and TSOs.

Your mission is to:

  • Join customer meetings to provide technical confidence and guide flexibility solution design
  • Translate our technical capabilities into clear business value
  • Scope and align customer needs with Mind Energy’s platform and services
  • Build proposals and tender responses that are both technically robust and commercially competitive
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across flexibility programs in Sweden, Norway, and Finland
  • Liaise with TSOs to align on participation standards and market communication
  • Develop sales collateral, training materials, and documentation
  • Keep internal teams up to speed on market design, regulation and use cases
  • Support onboarding and act as a trusted advisor post-sale
  • Channel market and customer insights into our long-term product roadmap
  • Your insights shape how we grow – and how customers unlock value in a changing energy system.

    You know flexibility from experience and speak both commercial and technical fluently.

    You like solving problems across customers, markets and systems – and you always strive to make the complex simple.

    We imagine you bring:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience from the energy sector, specifically within energy flexibility, grid services or trading
  • A strong understanding of demand response, VPPs, or balancing services (mFRR, aFRR, FCR)
  • Proven experience working with TSOs in Sweden, Norway, or Finland and navigating participation criteria in these countries
  • Solid knowledge of market frameworks such as mFRR, aFRR, FCR, and knowledge of market communication standards
  • The ability to assess flexibility assets from technical, operational, and regulatory perspectives
  • Ideally, background in flexibility aggregation, energy optimization, or grid services commercialization
  • Strong communication skills - you explain complex topics clearly to both technical and commercial stakeholders to outline the business value
  • A degree in engineering, energy systems, or economics is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is also valued
  • Fluency in English is required; Nordic languages are a plus
