 As a Senior Infrastructure Developer at Siemens Gamesa, your day will be centered around driving automation initiatives and enhancing our IT/OT solutions within the SCADA platform.
You will act as a technical leader, collaborating with various teams to align automation projects with enterprise strategies.
In a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, you will handle multiple tasks and projects, contributing to the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.
 How You’ll Make an Impact
 Lead automation efforts across Networks and Hardware Auxiliary teams, developing our SCADA IT platform. Interface with multiple departments to ensure alignment with enterprise strategies on automation projects. Develop, maintain, and optimize the existing automation ecosystem using tools like Chef, Ansible, Python, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and Artifactory. Design and implement new automation workflows for legacy and modern systems to improve system reliability, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across infrastructure, networks, and applications. Optimize security solutions on our platforms to meet increasing business demands. Create documentation, training materials, procedures, and processes. Participate in 2/3 Level support for IT technicians located in Onshore, Offshore, and Service. What You Bring
 Background as a data technician or a degree in computer science or engineering. Familiarity with SCADA platforms or industrial control systems. Strong knowledge of computer networks, Linux and Microsoft server OS, VMware, and DevOps practices.
Kubernetes experience is a big plus. Hands-on experience with Ansible/Chef, Python and Bash scripting, GitLab CI/CD, and artifact management tools. Proven experience in modernizing and automating legacy environments. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across multidisciplinary teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and an open mindset for innovation. High priority on cybersecurity.
