  We are looking for a Technical Project leader to drive the development and implementation of the Verification of Payee (VoP) service: a critical component mandated by the EU to enhance the security and efficiency of payment transactions across the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).
The role will require a blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, and leadership skills.
  As a Technical Project lead you will take part in designing your ‘Verification of payee’ team within the Customer and Sector Integrations Tribe.
In the Customer and Sector Integrations Tribe, we enable customers to streamline their banking experience by automating communication of financial interactions and data between the customers, Danske Bank, the financial sector, and authorities.
  We are around 110 colleagues located across the Nordics, Lithuania and India.
    Responsibilities:  
   Strategic Leadership: define the product vision for the VoP implementation, aligning it with business goals and regulatory requirements.   Technical Oversight: oversee the development of new API interfaces and name-matching algorithms as per the European Payment Council’s VoP scheme rulebook.   Project Management in an agile setup: manage timelines and stakeholders’ expectations to ensure a seamless and timely implementation.   Team Collaboration: work closely with other tech leads, developers, and product teams to integrate VoP services within existing platforms ensuring interoperability and efficiency.   Compliance & Quality Assurance: ensure all development work meets the strict requirements set forth for VoP services..   Innovation, advocate for and implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance the security and reliability of payment verifications.    What competences do we think is needed?

   Collaborator by heart   Experience in managing large-scale IT projects, preferably within the financial sector, with a knack for meeting tight deadlines.
   Strong stakeholder management skills   Enjoys complexity and is able to make complex matters simple   Thrives in making decisions and not afraid to step forward    Solution-oriented and good at solving problems   Hands on experienced with developer background is a plus.    Relevant experience could be: 
   Experience working with payment products   Experience working with IT Development   Experience within Financial Services   Tech lead or Product Owner experience   Educational background within IT, Math or Economics    Interested?
